Tuesday, June 12th, 2012
The accomplishments of numerous Team Cornwall members are on display in the latest edition of Cornwall Living magazine.
The 2012 edition of Cornwall Living features a cover story on one of Team Cornwall’s newest members, local soccer star and Olympic hopeful Christina Julien. The 24-year-old is proudly pictured wearing her Team Cornwall jacket on the cover.
In addition to the cover story on Julien, the popular magazine contains a Team Cornwall advertisement featuring a ringside photo of boxer and Team Cornwall member Tony Luis, the current WBC Continental Americas Jr. Welterweight Champion. There’s also three pages of Team Cornwall updates in addition to photos of other Team members such as radio personalities Sue Stewart and Jamie Carr, businessman Andre Pommier, St. Lawrence College Dean Don Fairweather and Kim Coe-Turner of the NAV CENTRE.
“Cornwall Living magazine does a great job of showcasing life in Cornwall and S,D&G, and it fits perfectly with Team Cornwall’s goal of promoting the many advantages of living and doing business in Cornwall,” said Team Cornwall Chair Gilles Latour.
In addition to being distributed locally, Cornwall Living is also sent out to thousands of people by Cornwall Economic Development. Copies are also sent to potential residents and investors who enquire about the City.
The magazine is published annually by Seaway News. This year’s edition also features stories on Cornwall’s growing music scene, the Cornwall Community Hospital, St. Lawrence College, the St. Lawrence River Institute of Environmental Sciences and the NAV CENTRE, among others.
