Thursday, March 15th, 2012
Cornwall’s growing logistics and supply chain activities were recognized recently by Canadian Transportation & Logistics, an influential publication servicing the Canadian logistics sector.

Adam Ledlow, Managing Editor, was in Cornwall recently at an supply chain information session organized by St. Lawrence College. At that meeting Kevin Maynard, Executive Director of the Canadian Supply Chain Sector Council and Emily Koolen, Director of Client Engagement for PeopleCentric gave presentations to local education and business leaders.

“Cornwall is becoming a major player in the logistics industry,” said Mr. Ledlow. “In a two part video series, we explore the reasons behind this uprising and the possibilities for partnerships between educators and the industry.”

Part one of Mr. Ledlow’s video series, entitled Coming Up Cornwall is now available online on the Canadian Transportation & Logistics website. The video deals with the many projects currently in the works in Cornwall, including distribution centres for Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart and Target Distribution Centre (under construction).

Canadian Transportation & Logistics will also be running a story in the magazine about Cornwall in the coming months.
