Tallman Group Rebrands

One of Team Cornwall’s leading members will now need two cards.

Kirk Tallman heads up the Cornwall division of Tallman Truck Centre, which has recently undergone a rebranding and is now known as Tallman Group. The new name is accompanied by a new logo, tagline, and easy-to-use, responsive website. The change reflects the rapid growth of the company and better represents what Tallman Group offers.

Part of the new initiative is a new tagline which reads “Great People. Great Service. Always There.”

“The new brand underscores that the group of companies owned and operated under the Tallman Group umbrella retains the quality of sales and service its customers have enjoyed for over forty years.” says Mr. Tallman.

 Tallman Group had its beginnings as a single International Trucks dealership in Kemptville in 1973. It has since grown to nine dealerships and six associates in Ontario.

 Tallman Group’s Cornwall facility is located on McConnell Avenue, just south of the Highway 401 interchange. The operation includes 10 truck service bays, a parts warehouse and a truck sales/leasing operation.

 The Cornwall operation has experienced growth over the past several years as the City’s logistics and distribution sector has grown. With the recent growth of logistics and supply chain activities in the Cornwall Business Park, business is expected to continue to build.

 Tallman Group sells and services a complete line of international medium- and heavy-duty trucks from its spacious faciliity on McConnell Avenue in Cornwall, as well as seven other faciltiies located in Kemptville, Brockville, Kingston, Belleville, Oshawa and Ottawa.


In 2011, Tallman Truck Centre Limited was awarded the prestigious Navistar 2011 Circle of Excellence by International.  The Circle of Excellence program was established to honor those International dealerships that achieve the highest level of performance in terms of operating and financial standards, market representation, and most importantly, customer satisfaction.
